ABOUT THE EVENT:
The South Dayton Dance Theatre is celebrating 25 years of performing The Nutcracker, a family holiday tradition. This event is conveniently held at the Dayton Convention Center in the center of downtown Dayton. This performance is appropriate for all ages. Little ballerinas can be found twirling in their party dresses in the lobby during intermission. This year's cast includes students from the South Dayton School of Dance, professional male guest artists and, of course, the pre-professional company members of SDDT.
For those attending an SDDT performance for the first time, we would like to inform you about our organization. South Dayton Dance Theatre is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring young, pre-professional dancers to achieve their full potential through comprehensive dance training with an exphasis on ballet and modern technique. SDDT is dedicated to creating dance productions of the highest artistic standard, as well as enriching our local community through quality dance instruction and performances.
From the SDDT family to yours: Happy Holidays and enjoy the show!
