Turn It Up Dance Challenge is a dance competition for dancers of all levels! You will receive nothing but exceptional customer service and will leave feeling accomplished and eager to return. Dayton Public Schools high school students will make a commitment to college and other post-secondary careers. Each graduate will sign a ceremonial banner as they take the next step in their education. The signing is sure to be an emotional and exciting day for both students and staff!
This competition will be another organized, fun, and stress-free event.
Students in grades one through 12 who achieved all As during at least one of the first three grading periods will be honored. High school student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average during the fall, winter or spring quarters will also be recognized. The program always draws a large crowd, so only immediate families are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served and door prizes will be raffled. This is the 23rd year for the event!

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Montgomery County Environmental Services provides water and water reclamation (sewer) services to 80,000 customers as well as solid waste and recycling services to 525,000 citizens in Montgomery County, Ohio. The department offers educational outreach programs for local schools, communitities and businesses that want to learn more about conservation and sustainability in the Miami Valley region.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
To increase awareness of recyclable materials, the Montgomery County Solid Waste District sponsors a contest where students use recyclable material to create an abstract or realist sculpture. The contest is open to schools located in Montgomery County, grades K-12. Sculptures may be submitted by individuals or teams of two to four students (one entry per student). Winners will be recognized and receive special awards at a reception in May.
